Nevil laid to rest from labor of love for Geneva and Indiana

The words of Vince Gill singing, "Go rest high upon that mountain," lifted over a holy hush in the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department on Sunday afternoon as an overflow crowd paraded in front of the casket of favorite son and friend, Ivan Nevil, following a very meaningful tribute memorial service on Sunday afternoon.
No one knew what to say, but all felt the same pain of loss and loneliness, a sense of being more vulnerable because their protector who had all the answers of safety and care had passed suddenly last week after a short bout with leukemia.....
