Collier to bid for council’s at-large seat

Decatur Daily Democrat:

A Decatur man who graduated from the United States Naval Academy and spent 10 years as a naval aviator has announced his candidacy to run as a Republican for the Decatur City Council's at-large seat in this year's election.
Cameron Collier, 31, is a 1997 Adams Central High School graduate and now works here as a financial consultant with Jehl and Kreilach Financial Management firm.
Collier, who was a lieutenant in the Navy, is on the waiting list to be a lieutenant-commander in the Naval Reserve.
He says of his first foray into politics, "Having proudly served our nation as a naval officer for more than 10 years, I welcome an opportunity to serve my local community......
