Both Cupid, ‘hand of God’ are part of Rowleys’ love story

"It would take the hand of God for us to get married."

That was what Terra Rowley told her husband Mike years ago.

The Huntington couple says their love story is one filled with moments of comedy.

"We were both graduate students at Florida State (University)," Terra Rowley recalls. "My roommate asked me to a barbecue party with her in the fall of 1993."

The attraction to Mike was instantaneous, Terra adds.
"When I saw him, I leaned over to my roommate and asked if she was interested in him," Terra states. "After she said no, I said good, because I am."

Mike says his first thoughts were along the same line.

"I thought she was a nice-looking girl," he states......
