When Nathan Lehman, of rural Berne, developed a swing arm on a gooseneck trailer to assist with field spraying several years ago, he never realized that he would eventually be $2,500 richer for his efforts.
Lehman said that he visited the family steel pile to fish out some parts when he first had the idea for the device that would help the sprayer swing out over the top of the crop and help prevent damage in spraying.
