Repair work at BMS could top $300,000

Decatur Daily Democrat:

A preliminary assessment of water leakage problems at Bellmont Middle School has determined that repairs at the school could cost more than $300,000.
Larry Carty, director of facilities and grounds for the school district, said Structure Tec Group had performed the assessment and will set bid specifications for the project. Damage has been caused by ground settling in portions of the middle school building and some irregularities during the original construction of the building more than two decades ago.....
