UW’s Horoho eases into retirement; her ‘student’ steps up to the plate

Huntington County Tab:

The roles are now reversed at the United Way of Huntington County.

Jenna Strick, who has served the agency under Executive Director Pat Horoho for the past three years, is the agency’s new executive director.
Horoho, who is easing into retirement, will remain in the office until late April to serve as a mentor and coach for Strick.

Horoho served as executive director of the local United Way for 15 years.
“She’s been a champion for the cause, the mission of the United Way, to improve the quality of life for the people in Huntington county,” Strick says of Horoho. “Always making sure that is what we are doing … She’s going to be greatly missed.”....
