HU men jump out to early lead and never look back against Goshen

The Huntington University men's basketball team got off to a fast start and never looked back as it beat visiting Goshen College, 76-60, on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

The Foresters jumped out to a 12-3 lead after the first five minutes and went into halftime with a 41-26 advantage. The lead got as high as 23 points in the second half as Kellen Zawadzki pumped in 14 of his game-high 22 points to help HU improve to 14-5 on the season and 3-3 in the Mid-Central Conference.

Tyler Shively knocked in 19 points as Zawadzki's top offensive helper, and Shane Merryman and Caleb Kennedy added 13 and 11 points, respectively.....(more)
