HNHS senior bowler earns spot on Team USA with sport’s big names

After the last frame was bowled at the 2011 Team USA Bowling Trials, held Jan. 3 through 7, Huntington North senior EJ Tackett was among the few individuals chosen to represent the nation in international competition in 2011.

Tackett placed third overall and second in the junior category, respectively.

"They chose the top two placements in the adult and junior categories as well as two additional from each group," states Tackett.

Tackett had a 221.89 average over four days and 36 games at Sunset Station's Strike Zone Bowling Center in Las Vegas....(more)
