Fort Wayne troopers arrest over 900 for OWI in 2010

Fort Wayne - The traffic and criminal enforcement efforts of five Indiana State Police Troopers, assigned to the Fort Wayne Post, highlighted one of the Department’s mission statement philosophies which states that “we will address crimes and offenders with diligent, conscientious and proactive initiatives”.

In June of 2009, Fort Wayne District Commander, Lt. Rob Townsend put together a team of four Troopers whose primary focus was OWI enforcement in the District. In 2010, a fifth Trooper was added to that team.....
