FORT WAYNE - In December 2010, the Edward D. and Ione Auer Foundation, a private charitable foundation, made gifts to 10 local organizations. Organizations and gifts:

- Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, Project Learn, $10,000
- Fort Wayne Ballet, Title One School Adoption Program, $10,000
- Fort Wayne Economic Development Alliance, Downtown Development, $50,000
- Fort Wayne Firefighters’ Museum, Teaching history, fire safety and prevention, $5,000
- Fort Wayne Park Foundation, Boundless Playground at Kreager Park, $25,000
