FWCS students will see longer days, start later on Wednesdays next year

FORT WAYNE — Students will have longer days in school, but also will start a half hour later each Wednesday this fall under a new schedule released by Fort Wayne Community Schools.

Elementary schools will be in session from 8:55 a.m.-3:30 p.m., after previously attending from 8:50 a.m.-3:20 p.m. Students at FWCS' middle schools will go to class from 7:30 a.m.-2:25 p.m. — they were in school from 7:55 a.m.-2:35 p.m. last year. High School students will be in school from 7:30 a.m.-2:35 p.m. after attending from 8 a.m.-2:35 p.m. a year ago....
