City-county building meeting set

Decatur Daily Democrat:

A meeting will take place next week in Decatur involving city and Adams County officials to discuss the next step concerning the proposal to build a city-council building in downtown Decatur.

The meeting will include county Commissioner Ed Coil, likely a member of the county council, Decatur Mayor John Schultz, a member of the city council, and perhaps others, such as City Attorney Tim Baker and County Attorney Mark Burry.

At Monday's meeting of the commissioners, Schultz said city leaders are interested in the city-county building idea, but want to know the county's interest.
