South Adams accepts bids "on principal"

The South Adams School Board met on Wednesday evening to discuss the sale of the Berne property. Bidding on the property closed at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at which time only one bid had been submitted. That bid was from GKB Enterprises LLC of Decatur. The company is owned by Steven J. Kreigh and the estate of Ralph E. Biggs.
