Fort Wayne GM back on track Sunday

FORT WAYNE - All shifts at the Fort Wayne General Motors plant are to report as normally scheduled on Sunday after some shifts were canceled due to a fire at an auto parts supplier in Detroit Wednesday.

According to General Motors spokesperson Stephanie Jentgen, its supplier, Magna Atreum, about 45 miles northwest of Detroit, is now "limping along" and able to get some parts out.

Jentgen also said the Fort Wayne GM plant, 12200 Lafayette Center Road, has been able to get supplies from other manufacturers and should have enough to run through Tuesday, barring any other problems.....
