3 additional tornadoes confirmed in SW Indiana

OAKLAND CITY, Ind. — The National Weather Service has confirmed three additional tornadoes hit southwestern Indiana this week.

The weather service office in Paducah, Ky., says a tornado with peak winds of 115 mph cut a 19-mile swath through Gibson and Pike counties, destroying two homes and damaging several others. The most extensive damage occurred in the town of Oakland City....
