Apartment Association responds to rash of robberies

FORT WAYNE – The Apartment Association of Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana (AAFW-NEI) is taking action after a rash of robberies at area apartment communities on Fort Wayne's north side.

The AAFW-NEI, along with local law enforcement officials, compiled a list to help residents remain safe and assist authorities in solving and preventing crime.

“While crime can happen anywhere, apartment residents need to be more aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity,” executive director of AAFW-NEI, Beth Wyatt, said in a statement.....
