As families gather around to enjoy Thanksgiving meals, the centerpiece of most tables will be the turkey.
And while many opt for the store-bought variety, others will venture down the path less traveled - one littered with free-range turkeys.
Huntington resident Blaine Kaylor has been one of the "keepers" of that path for the last two years.
"We started raising free-range turkeys in February of 2008," states Kaylor. "We got them as part of a 4-H project that my son and daughter were going to be doing."Kaylor says after his first acquisition of a mixture of 20 hens and toms, the venture blossomed.
