Urban Enterprise Zone gets new manufacturer

A company that produces covers, canopies and other accessories for the boating and power sports industries has begun operations in Fort Wayne’s Urban Enterprise Zone.

Dowco Inc. is still testing production processes at the former Crosby complex, at 2827 Freeman St. The operation will be a duplicate of one the company has in Lebanon, Mo. Dowco plans to hire a total of 10 workers.....
