People visiting area businesses this summer may have noticed containers sitting by cash registers with signs asking for donations to benefit World War II veterans.
If you have put any spare change in any of those containers, you have helped Honor Flight Northeast Indiana, part of the Honor Flight Network. Honor Flight provides veterans with a one-day, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., so they can see the World War II Memorial on the National Mall....
