At exactly 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, total silence fell over the crowd at the Bellmont High School Theater. All that was heard were the footsteps of the family of Staff Sergeant Phillip Jenkins, as they marched quietly to go before the flag-draped basket bearing the remains of one who had been killed in action in Sept. 7 in Iraq. A large crowd had gathered at the high school for his memorial service....
