Updated: Wednesday swimming classes a go at closed Northside Pool

FORT WAYNE — Those looking to beat the heat Wednesday at the Northside Pool will have to find another way to stay cool Wednesday.

A mechanical failure forced Fort Wayne Parks & Rec officials to close the pool, city officials said in a news release.

Wednesday's 5:15 and 6:05 p.m. Learn to Swim classes will go on as scheduled at Northside Pool, although the pool is closed for public swim.....
