Pacesetters get going to kick off new United Way campaign

Huntington County TAB:

With freshly-grilled hamburgers under their belts, representatives of eight local businesses set out Wednesday, July 14, to start building excitement for the 2010 Huntington County United Way campaign - and to start building a pool of contributions that will help fund agencies serving as safety nets and springboards for Huntington County residents.

The Pacesetter companies - who will "set the pace" for the community-wide United Way campaign - were treated to burgers grilled by Huntington County Community Schools Food Services Director Tom Lentes during the mid-day picnic at Hier's Park. They went back to their workplaces to run campaigns in advance of the general campaign in hopes of inspiring an increased level of giving....
