Auer Foundation donates $190K to area organizations

FORT WAYNE — The Edward D. and Ione Auer Foundation, a private charitable foundation, donated $190,000 to 15 local organizations.

Organizations getting funds include:

• AIDS Task Force, support for their Women-At-Risk and African American outreach programs, $5,000
• Allen County Council on Aging, support to provide seniors in-home assistance, $10,000
• Camp Watcha Wanna Do, support for summer camp program for children who have or had cancer or a brain tumor, $5,000
• Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, support to provide practical resources and emotional support for local people with cancer, $10,000
