Some Adams inmates get GPS monitor

Berne Tri-Weekly News:

....Later in the meeting, the sheriff teamed up with Ian Gilbert from Community Corrections and Judge Pat Miller to announce that Community Corrections will begin to monitor, with GPS units, inmates on work release.
“We don’t have the manpower to properly monitor the inmates on work release,” stated Padgett. “This will allow us to follow the inmates and make sure they are going where they are supposed to go.”
Padgett added that the inmates on work release are currently charged $100 a week for room and board and that the monitoring will add $50 per week to this charge.
